Smoky & Spicy St. Louis Dry-Rubbed Ribs

Give those Smoky & Spicy St. Louis Dry-Rubbed Ribs a spicy cocktail of dry rub seasoning  and smoke them on the grill. Then watch your guests lick every finger in satisfaction.


2 racks Spare Ribs
2 cups Apple Juice

Dry Rub:
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tbsp. Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp. Garlic Salt
1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
1 Tbsp. Cumin
1 tsp. Ground Coriander


When ready to cook, start the Traeger on Smoke with the lid open until a fire is established (4-5 minutes).

Mix all dry rub ingredients together with your hand or a spoon. Rub the ribs generously with the rub.

Place ribs on grill and smoke for 2 hours.

Raise grill temperature to 225 degrees F; transfer the ribs into a foil pan, or make a foil tent. Pour apple juice over ribs. Cook for 2 hours at 225 degrees F.

Remove ribs and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!
